Here is a very special car that we have to reluctantly let go

Bought in July 2018 with 55k miles on the clock.
We’ve done around 13k miles and she’s on 68,500 now.
It’s been a 3rd car special daysZ
I’m a BMW enthusiast but promised to leave this car standard, as it’s just so good out of the box.
The only change has been moving Michelin PS5 non run flat tyres which improved the ride, handling and smoothness dramatically. They’ve covered around 1k miles and are like new.
The car has not wanted anything when it come to maintenance using genuine BMW parts or OEM equivalent only.
Even the new battery is a BMW item.

It’s had lots do preventative maintenance and servicing:

When we bought it had a gearbox service using the genuine ZF kit changing fluid and oil sump as preventative maintenance.

In summer 2023 the car had a lot of work done for the common issues at BM Sport Bexleyheath:
Rocker cover gaskets replaced (both banks)
Aircon service and new drive belt
Oil pressure sensor and switch
Genuine BMW 110ah battery
Fresh battery connector elbow
Front suspension wishbone (both sides)
Wheel alignment

The car has been maintained and documented history with backing invoices.

Whilst these cars are now very affordable it still drives and feel like a £50k car and it always been treated that way.

I’ve more pictures and service history invoices etc.

Car can been seen in the Gillingham, Kent.

Price £6,250

edit to add:
To add it’s recently been detailed as follows:

Prewash ,snowfoam, 3bucket method, tyers clean ,wheel barrel cleand, wheels face cleand ,seats steam cleand, seats reproteced ,footwells hovered, mats wet and dryed clean dashboard cleaned and reproteced, windows cleand and ceramic coated ,wheels ceramic waxed ,roof deep cleaned and rewater proofed ,engine bay clean and redressed, single stage machine polish,
paint glaze, finished with a 12 months ceramic wax.

Wheels: no cracks - I’ve replaced the wheels with a refurbished set that had no cracks or welds (one rear wheel had cracked and needed welding. When I found a set with no welds I replaced all 4 wheels and ditched the run flats that seem to cause more hassle than they are worth)

It’s a very special colour that changes in the light, like a pearl effect:
STRATUS METALLIC 440

I’ve seen it in 6 series and Z4 of this era.

Undoubtedly an awful lot of car for the money, that.
Superb service history in the book. Looks like it stayed in the High Wycombe area for a long time.
The N62 V8 is a peach of an engine IMO. I wish they had kept the n/a V8 engine for the F series 6, rather than turbo-charging it and making it totally unreliable.

I keep being drawn back to the 6 series verts, unfortunately I can't get on with the looks of the E63.

GLWTS.

Wow. That would be a 25k car easily if the steering wheel was on the other side.

This has been sold to a great young guy with impeccable taste and his first BMW.
I know it’s not a Z but I’ll tell him to pop on here as this is the nicest bunch of BMW owners out there 😁
