HornelZ3M and myself are looking to go to this, anyone else interested?

For novelty value, and out of necessity I shall be going in my MINI Cooper.

The 4th annual event of BMs on the lawn at Weston-super-Mare on Sunday 16 June 2013. You are welcome to arrive any time around 09:00 but the show will finish at 16:00. This event has steadily grown from around 10 cars in the first year to 32 last year and is equally popular with partners/wives/husbands and families as it is gives the added opportunity to have some fun family time near the beach (and the sea if the tide is in!)

Any model BMW or Mini (classic or modern) is more than welcome and no prior booking is necessary, however it would be useful to get an idea of numbers before hand to help manage the layout.

The sponsors, Clayton Cars, which is a Bristol based BMW Specialist have supported this event from the beginning by supplying raffle prizes and trophies. In addition they judge the Car of the Show category on the day.​

It’s an informal day but if you fancy joining in there will be a Show and Shine competition (£2.00 entry fee) with the chance to vote for your favourite cars and possibly win a trophy for yours. The competition is not compulsory so you can just come along (with or without your car) to meet other enthusiasts.​

I think Hazel and I are going to do this one! I think she want to surprise her dad as at the moment they have no idea she has her own Zed and wants to just say we are picking them up and then turn up with two Blue Z3's and she takes her dad and I bring her mum. I have not done anything to register interest, any idea of the process at this time? I have not yet had a look.

Only just seen your update, and that would be great Duncan! I copied the text above from the thread in the Car Club forum, and don't have much more info other than turn up.

If we get an idea of number I will email the region rep and say we are bringing some cars. Currently 3 Zeds and a MINI!

my guess is that Zedwheels will probably be going again he went last year. I will email some of the westcountry crowd as well.

Just had this email through from the car club. I'll email the contact and see what he needs from us!

Please come and join us on the Lawns on the seafront at Weston Super Mare on Sunday 16th June.

This event has gone from strength to strength over the last couple of years and after the great turnout for the Southern Concours from surrounding Regions we’re hoping for another great multi-region turn out on the 16th.

There will be plenty of well turned out BMWs to look at and plenty of Club members to talk too. For the car enthusiasts there will be a fun and informal Show ‘n’ Shine, for everyone else, and do please bring the whole family, there are all the attractions of Weston to enjoy – the seafront promenade, the Pier, shops, fish ‘n’ chips, even donkey rides!

More information just received from the organiser... Key information on times and location in the second paragraph. Looks good for us all parking together, so I will look to find a location for us to meetup.

This event started off as just a few car club members from our Western Region, last year we had about 35 cars, some from quite a long distance, and with the level of interest shown this year, promises to be the best turn out we have had. (weather permitting)

We will be setting up the event from about 8.30 am, and will start at 10am going on till about 4pm, and will be on the beach lawns hard standing opposite what used to be the Tropicana on Weston sea front. you do not need to be club member, and yes, you should be able to park together if you all arrive at the same time and space permits. I would say the earlier you are there the better the parking opportunities will be. If you have a club banner you can also bring that along.

The event itself is a "show & shine" where competitors vote for there three favourite cars, also a prize is awarded by our sponsor Clayton cars, (independent BMW specialists in Bristol) for the car they feel is the best overall.
there will also be a raffle, and the cost of entering the show & shine is £2.00.

The seafront has been recently revamped, so there is plenty of other things to do if you wish.
We look forward to seeing you and any other friends you wish to bring along.

Went to this last year and had a great day out. The weather was sunny and it's right on the sea front. I was with the welsh BMWCC region and we are all attending again this year so there will
be a good turnout. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Hi Ron,
Yes that would be good, I don't want to spoil the line up but a space close by as I'll have a boot full of products that people may want to see demo'd.
