Bluetooth Phone Connectivity

The roadster has the S644 Bluetooth Phone Preparation option and a previous owner had the forethought to scribble the pairing code on the inside of the operating instructions - or at least I that's what I assumed.

Unfortunately it turns out it doesn't work and with the head unit in pairing mode it just keeps returning a failed outcome when I enter the code. I've tried both iPhone and android handsets but the outcome is the same.

Can anyone recommend an alternative approach - is there anyway I can confirm the code is correct?

Clear all entries in Bluetooth ..remove all Bluetooth devices from within sniffing range of the car..clear Bluetooth entry in the phone…power all off ..power all on…go to Bluetooth set up in car..create new pair code ..confirm on phone

I managed to resolve the issue - sorry I should have updated this post but I think instead I included it on my progress thread for the car.

Anyway the issue was the wrong Bluetooth Passkey had been written in the manual - only confirmed once I had strippsd the boot lining to get to the Bluetooth module :bashhead:
