The washer jet on my z3 is blocked

Does the white bit separate from the black nozzle?
Is the white bit a filter? and if so can it be cleaned?

The round white bit is a one way valve, disconnect the pipe and try blowing compressed air through it from base to outlet in the direction of water flow. Same for the actual jet part of it, the one way valve cannot be taken apart.
Replacements for jets and valves on ebay here, valves are inline versions and not the round type. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_....m570.l1313&_odkw=bmw+z3+washer+jet&_osacat=0
There is a listing for the round type but at an extortionate price.

You can pull the white part out of the black "jet". Once out try the washers and see if water comes out of the one way valve. If it does, the jet itself is blocked. If so take a wire out of a wire brush and poke it into the 2 holes in the jet and blow through with compressed air.

Tony.
