No photo because I was driving. I was feeling pretty down but seeing it made me a little happy. From what I could see, it was clean and shiny. A well loved example of the rarest production Z3 variant. Pretty sure it was a newer one. I think the Z3 Coupes had a face lift too, or maybe its just in my head, idk.

The later MCs (2001/2) changed to a S54 engine, from S50 in the UK, think from S52 in USA. Also some uplift cosmetic changes (grey dials etc), shadow chrome wheels and DSC installed.
Don't know much about the non Ms though as they were not available in UK (just Europe), or whether they were sold in US.

There was a company/importer based in Middlesborough that had a few 2.8 and 3.0 Coupe's that were imported from Japan so may be Asia was the market for non M coupe's? The warehouse was close to the Riverside football stadium and I went to have a look at them while I was in Middlesborough while doing my ASME qualifications for onshore/offshore inspections back in 2017. They were all low mileage automatics that looked like they'd never seen rain, prices were £18k to £22k back then. I saw the advert on Ebay and although I wasn't looking to buy a coupe I went to have a look because I was there and had the time to kill so to speak.

Also something I do know is that the Japanese import coupes have different trunk doors for some reason.
