I've been tossing up whether to part with my very lovely Sport Seats. I bought them for a project but realistically they will sit around for too long waiting for me to need them when there isn't really space.

Anyhow I now have a decent set of standard seats that can go in my silver 2.2 project from the topaz blue 2.2 I'm now breaking and these Sport seats are probably more suited in something with a better spec.

So if I can get the right money for them I'm prepared to sell them. Otherwise I'll find a way to store them long term.

They are very solid with little in the way of visible wear. I've not had them in a car so I can't tell you how they feel or how firm they are. They are quite dirty and will need a thorough clean. I think either 1 or both seat belt guides are broken.

The red does not reproduce well in a photo. It is not as bright as the passenger seat taken outside and not as dull as the driver's seat taken inside.

They come with the matching door cards. I'm looking for £750 for the seats and cards together which is what I would expect to pay back out if I decide to replace them at a later date. I'd probably regard that as £650 for the seats and £100 for the door cards.

Sorry, not prepared to ship them. Collection only. Or I can deliver for free within 15 minutes of the M4 between J15 and J44.

I'm wondering how they'd look in a white Z3?

What's people's opinions?

I think they'd look great in a black, red, silver or white Z3. They would look wrong in a blue car, might blag it in a green or even yellow car.

Ok, I'll have a think.

Need to research how easy/difficult it'd be to fit new seat belt guides, and when I'll next be passing you're neck of the woods.

They look a very nice pair of seats Rob, easily worth what you're asking and probably more. You won't have trouble selling them I'm sure.

Tony.

If there is no interest on here I would clean them properly and leather balm them and put them on ebay auction, I recon you will reach what you are asking.

I might do. But to be honest I'm in no hurry to sell. I'm happy to leave leave the ad up and wait. And I've not cleaned them so whoever buys them can use their favourite product/method.

I wasn't very impressed with Gliptone cleaner I've used previously. So I'd try something else on these.

They look great - personally I'd hold on to them.
I bought them for the project silver 2.2 (3rd car in my profile pic) when I was also going to get the project blue 2.2 (2nd car in pic) back on the road. But as I discovered a terminal issue with the blue car the seats from that will go in the silver one instead. They're only standard ones but the silver car is not a Sport and it has 90+k on it so on reflection the Sport seats are possibly a bit too good for it.

My own 2.2 (1st car in pic) already has some lovely black Sport seats in it which are the right ones for that.

Now what I really want is a project 3.0 (red or white would be nice if they exist) and I'll happily put the black/red seats in that :)

There's two pairs on Ebay currently, one at £750 for the pair and the other at £999.

I'm thinking I'll put mine on there soon
