Black really does polish up best

Thought I'd treat our lasses car to a good clean. She works in a scrap yard so 99.9% of the time its filthy.
A wash, clay, Polish and wax later and the paint is lovely.
It's a 2007 car and only has 30000 on the clock so it hasn't really ever had to do much.

I'm making her get the wheels refurbed soon as they are shocking, mostly off her mother
But don't tell her I said that

Trouble with Black ---- it's a continual process , my X1 is black and my daughter insists on Black. She arrived today (Mother's Day) and says her car needs cleaning . It's a great car ex Mini with nearly every extra you can get, fantastic split rims (don't know genuine) An interesting point ,after having it 6 days she was about 40 miles from home at 23.30 hrs and got a puncture. Was able to drive home ok now says why don't all cars have run flats

Do like black (other peoples)
Had a Honda CRV in black. Big lump to polish, looked great parked up after 4 hour clean and polish, first drive dusty or muddy. Z so much easier to polish once the bonnets done your halfway there. Main difference Z is a pleasure to polish the CRV was a chore.

I felt the same about my black Touareg Paul, Shirl's Eos is a little bit easier though.
