bit of a scrub up today

    but does anyone know how safe it is to jet wash the engine bay ???

    It's fine to wash the engine bay.

    Just cover up the sensitive areas.

    I came across a website Ammonyc.com/videos which has pretty good video on engine detailing, this may give you some tips. There also some other great videos on the site about keeping your car up together.
