Event Bicester Scramble 4th Oct 2020.

Any one fancy this event, I’m going so could meet up. Be quick cos it gets sold out usually. Come on you southern pretty boy petrol heads, this is just up your street. £12.20 tickets still available. Don’t let the northern ugly lads gobble all the tickets up. If enough turn up then maybe we could enquire about a club stand for future yrs. This event gets a from me so far.

I've had a look at the website. Am I right in saying you can only display your car if it's registered before 1990?

Just over an 1.5 hours from us and missed out on every car show this year so far so could be tempted. Would we all be able to park together somewhere? Not seen how the event works.

Can’t display your car if registered after 1990, this is basically a classic car show with tickets available to general public but it’s very petrol head orientated and with good snack facilities. First year they’re having an auto jumble, so that’s another reason to go look and see what’s on offer, might need to bring some cash with you.
Even though the classic year stops at 1990 you’ll find some real nice cars parked up just over the road from show cars(15ft ish). Yours could be one of them. That’s not the reason to go IMO, but over the last couple of years that I’ve attended I’ve been very pleased with the content and believe it’s one of the better classics shows I’ve been to. Because it’s ticket only the queues go down fairly quickly going in and leaving. Not a proper Z meet rather a gathering of friends and members so we’d have to work out a meeting point after arriving. I’m sure the Z’s would be very popular even strung out in the car park, but then you don’t have to come in your Z, you could bring your wife’s or your second car like me (a DBS.) Big plus !!!!!!!!! You don’t have to clean what you brung.

No mate Martin and me have booked in the Zeds I did ask him if it's for display but can't remember

Well to be honest Tony I was thinking it might be better if they cancelled and think it's for the best.
Such a shame there really wasn't much going on in this pendamic for us petrol heads. Looking forward to next year hoping the vaccination makes it debut as early as March, then maybe things will change for the better. (Bob Hope springs to mind) Been real busy since the start and the long list of jobs around the house and garden was completed yesterday with the new back garden fence renewed and the 38yrs of accumulated junk in the loft picked up by the local skip company. Haven't seen the list with no jobs on it since 1982 when we moved in. Shouldn't really have taken a pendamic to get it all done especially when you think I've had 7yrs in retirement to do it, life can be so strange at times. Stay safe my mate and maybe we'll be able to get together next year.

Pretty much the same here Roy, I’ve had fun making stuff in the garage and making a bin store where the oil tank used to be and making a panel from the front of the garage to the side fence. I still haven’t done the oil and filters and due to low use may leave them till spring too. Florida Governor is getting more optimistic and planning to increase the capacity at restaurants and bars. Hope he’s not jumping the gun though.
