so the weather has given me a bit more enthusiasm to get outside, couldn’t get on with changing my stereo so I had these in the garage and thought I would try them for size. Need some tic to the polished rims but fit a treat.

Agree with Ant, wheels look great and compared with Ants blue car lowered to perfection, yes it could do with dropping a little.

Yes I have bought a eibach adjuststable coil over kit but I need warmth as well as a bit of blue sky before they get fitted.

Totally agree with you I love the look of ants car. I have a set of coil overs to go on but when it's a bit warmer. I bought these wheels last year and thought I had better see if they fit ok before I start messing with the suspension.

The key to the coilover and wheel fitment will be the front offset a coilover body will sit a lot lower than a standard strut it's the clearance between the spring and the wheel that is key and it may require the fronts to be spaced to fit them.
I looked in to coilovers but I would struggle to get the front to fit without spacers and I'm pretty flush already so decided on the bilsteins instead

The adjustable coil overs are much thinner than a standard coil over so clearance should not be an issue.

The offset of the wheel rim could still make it very close. Hope they fit though.

Hmmm I don't know then , I thought it was the platform that usually gets to close to the tyre with when the offset is to high. Time will tell

They look on the smaller size as you say, the shock body is the same as stock so it should be fine.
My rims are an 8.5j 35 offset and inner clearance to rim is about 12mm , the strut body is about 50mm as standard. The smallest coilover I found was BC racing at a spring diameter of 70mm, spring 10 mm either side of the strut was going to make things right and it is expensive should it not fit.
Hope it all fits up car will look great looking forward to see what happens

Yes it does look nice and shiny in the photos but it hasn't been washed and it needs one it's actually pretty dirty.
