Time has come to change my soft top before the rain invades my interior any further :)

I see several options on eBay but I am unsure of their fitment. Might go OEM but open to all suggestions.

Please share your experience?

best or most expensive..?
some would only say that the dearest is the best.... Usually those that have paid top dollar.

I have had two cars done at Croydon and they were perfect. I paid £325 fitted at the time for a blue roof.
I would equally pay £395 now for them to do another if that is their latest price.

Best as in cost to performance:)

I would love to get these done at Croydon. Shame they are 6,000 miles away...

Had my old 2.8 done at Croydon about 3 years ago. Great result and nice chap. Well pleased. I paid about £425 but that was because I had pockets in mine which were extra. Don`t think I`ll bother with pockets on my next one.

Most members on here are UK based, which is why you are getting recommendations for the Guy in Croydon. I had a look on the members map (https://zroadster.org/usermap/) and there are only 2 other members in Japan. Suggest you PM them and ask if they have any experience that might help. Of course there are many other soft-tops and you could perhaps ask on a MX5 (Miata) forum for recommendations.

Wow, sounds like thats a fairly inexpensive repair in the UK.
I was asking today in the Seattle area because I need a new top. Lowest I could find was $600 labor to remove and replace if I supply my own top.
I found some tops on Amazon for $250 to $350 by Sierra auto tops and seats. So I am still looking at about $1000. A Gah top would run me close to $1500-$1600 bucks!

Hi
I now have Alec's old 2.8 still going strong and the roof is still looking good with no problems at all

I've had BAS International and Prestige Autotrim recommended for good quality hoods. Anyone had any experience? I've had one of Prestige's cabriolet covers and although it was top dollar, I have to say that in my very limited experience, it is the best I've come across.
