Not in the Zed unfortunately but just driven a 13 year old Renault Master van done 200,000 miles for a solid 3 days down a Torraveija in southern Spain to help some friends emigrate. It's a long old drive 😂. Now turned around and heading north. Stopped off at Sunny Benidorm for 3 nights for a break before heading back home.
And FYI the van will be for sale on my return if anyone is looking for a cheap van. To be fair it drives really well didn't miss a beat fully laden on the way down. For more information call Arfur D on......😂

I've done a similar trip several times myself, most recently June, July this year. Hope you get back without drama.

Can't really go by badge nationality nowadays. Weren't, for many years, the Renault Master and Opel/Vauxhall Movano and Nissan Interstar/NV400 basically the same van. I could be wrong tbough.

On the other hand the main plant for all of those was still in france with some bloke in a striped jumper and a beret sticking renault, opel, vauxhall, nissan badges on to the van as it fell off the end of the assembly line.

With a Gitane dangling from his lip, chewing on a baguette, with a bottle of Merlot in one hand and a string of onions around his neck. Nothing like a bit of out-dated stereotyping.

Well it did 2960 miles in a week and didn't miss a beat the entire journey. I actually found it a great van to drive albeit underpowered. Even empty coming back it struggled on motorway hills. It turned the magic 200,000 miles yesterday on the last leg. I toff my hat to the old Renault, bravo! It shall get a well earned clean at the weekend then I shall spam the sales pages. Au revior! 👋

Sounds like quite the adventure! Glad the van handled the trip so well, 200k miles and still going strong is impressive. Enjoy the rest of your break in Benidorm and safe travels back!

I don't drink but I would happily have filled it with cheese but due to an ongoing health issue I can't eat it so glider engines it was! 😕
No dairy products...

I checked, as we will be visiting Hungary and Austria next week.

No wonder you're Grumpy!

I used to work with a chap (he was knob) whose strap line was "never trust a man who doesn't drink". Don't know where the saying came from but it wasn't his (he was usually too p***** to string a sentence together let alone make up a saying).

My job doesn't allow me to drink, well not legally anyway!
