Belly tray

Just a quick question do all z3 come with a under tray/belly pan I have a 1997 z3 2.8 would this have one from factory?

Some don't, my 3.0 doesn't.

Don't know whether your 2.8 would've had one from factory. Have heard the six cylinders didn't have them for heat reasons (i.e. to let more out), but couldn't confirm that.

The 2.8s had a shorter one then the 4 cylinders. It went as far back as the radiator and thats about it.

Mine left the car while driving a few years back. Quick vibrating noise followed by a thunk of a black piece of plastic in the mirror.

Picked up a replacement but never got around to fitting it and passed it on after the car was modified so it wouldnt fit anyways.

Lol mine has not had one since a got the car so who knows what happened to it lol

Mine - and I think all - should have the short-ish tray from the front splitter to under the radiator, which joins to the front of the wheel arch liners.

What mine - and I think most six cylinders - don't have, is the tray behind the short-ish one that extends to the x-brace
