8 weeks ago I picked up a set of 108s from near Blackpool. Many of you will know I've had family issues to deal with that started literally minutes afterwards and which have sucked up all my time and more.

Thankfully, things have settled down so I've been catching up with a few things. One of those is getting the 108's put on the car.

I had intended and had in fact set out for a bit of a drive around north Warwickshire and south Leicestershire this morning, but, the rain set in after a few miles. Instead I organised a new set of boots from the tyre place I've been using for years and organised the swap out of the old corroded 135s for this new set of 108s. Ordered the tyres online while in the shop and got free valves and balancing too. That paid for the tracking.

They wheels were purchased for a song (£75 each) having been split and refurbished but hardly used afterwards. There's just one slight imperfection which is hardly noticeable.

Here is before:-

Just got to clean all the crud off the callipers and hubs to show the paint that matches the car.

Very nice a great choice and transforms the zed
Thank Ant :)

The senior guy at the tyre place went out into the bay out back and came in and said they look great. From someone who spends his day looking at wheels I take that as a compliment too.

They look really good against your blue Ian. Some chrome or bright silver nut caps always make the bolts look better too.

I need new centre caps first Tony. My current ones are a little corroded around the edge. Just looks untidy against spangly new wheels :(

I treated mine to some Ian last year, not genuine ones but they seem to be lasting ok. I have to just get one lousy last bolt undone on my O/S/F wheel then I can get them split and sorted. Original wheels will have go back on for a bit.

Tony.

Looks good Ian. Makes the wheel area look so different and more open

I agree Bill, they look less cluttered in the wheel arch.

Tony.
