All my pics are of my gliding days on 634 VGS RAF St Athan are on paper and not digital, I just used these as a general pic of the Viking and Vigilant I used to instruct on.
Rings bells alright. I was there for six months in 78, 82-84, 86-94 when I left the RAF. Yes, you didn't mess with some of those valley commando's, and when you were on gate guard you definitely didn't get onto the coach bringing them to the 'electric wrestling'. Happy days.St Athan eh, did my driving courses there in '85, and did 17 days jankers. Valley Commandos, ring any bells? Great times. On the spotter front, I do have massive prints of the Vulcan, Lancaster and of course the mighty two man, two fan Swing wing angel of death dotted around the house as well as a Lancaster clock and a Hurricane and Spitfire model in glass bowls and a BBMF model set ............
