Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (Official) added 2 new photos.

Squadron Leaders Dunc Mason and Andy Millikin went to the Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford yesterday to see the BBMF's Mk Vb Spitfire AB910. She has been undergoing a major service. Dunc ran her engine and carried out some preliminary checks prior to the forthcoming airtest. Once this is complete, AB will return to RAF Coningsby for the 2015 Display Season. She is painted in the colours of Flt Lt Tony Cooper's 64 Squadron aircraft "Peter John I". Tony Cooper's 99th birthday is imminent and we can't wait to get him to Duxford to see her!

Incrediable pictures! Planes never entered my head until I joined tother side. Thanks to Koolflyer (Pete) they seem to appear as quite a regular event. Zed meets to Newark and castle Donnington last year and Duxford this year and hopefully some others to follow. Does Koolflyer frequent this site as well?

He follows along but seldom makes his presence known. Please say hi from me when you see him and thank him for the generous parts he supplied me with, they are greatly appreciated. JIM

I'll have a quiet word! Must say I do like it here! Everybody's so nice !!! :D
TBH Dave, I joined on .net first a couple or more years ago and although there was a lot of useful info I didn't really feel as though I "fitted in" if you understand what I mean. So I wandered around in the wilderness fro a couple more years and this forum came up from somewhere so I thought I would give it a shot. Almost instantly regretted it as HT lambasted me for having some dubious stickers on my car, but I soon realised he's not a bad old stick after all.:)
The main difference on here, I find, is it's much more user friendly, ie posting pictures, you tube clips etc. All down to our illustrious leader, he makes it easy even for an old technophobe such as I. Down side is you can spend hours.

Tony.
