Guys problems with the Z3, pulled car out of the garage Thursday, went into the house came back out 30 mins later went to start car no lights on dash hazards not working nothing. Put new battery in & all was well. Went out this morning and same problem no life whatsoever. Any one any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

Just checked the light switch it’s out slightly but lights were definitely off when in the garage the other day but switch not pushed in fully would that drain the battery?

No, probably not, test your boot light, put you phone on video, place it in the boot and close it, when you play back you should see the light go out

If the boot light is the problem, I'd take the bulb out of the boot light. It really isn't needed. The boot is only as big as a shoe box and no matter how dark it is, you don't need a light to see into it.

:nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting: Have you checked your lighting switch? They are renowned for the resistance wire of the dimmer falling out and shorting to the frame of the car. Its a common cause of fire. Don't want to worry you or anything =))

Does the 1st gen Z3 have a boot light? I have looked all round my boot and can't see one.

Replace it with a strip of LEDs, uses virtually no power and many times better illumination.
