Saw it last night.

I won't do a spoiler saying how the auction went.

The auction guy, what's his name, Derek? Anyway. He liked it a lot. Seemed to have been well built. A 1.9 if I'm not mistaken. Door windows were interesting. Maybe perspex?

Somebody on the forum mentioned a tribute at mathewsons a couple weeks ago. Don't know if this is the same one.

It looked very nice,but I was surprised when I saw it was the 4 pot. I would have used a 2.8 donor, but I suppose it's all about what it looks like.Sounded nice when the new owner was driving it.

Yes standard of finish inside and out was fantastic. Derek summed it up as best tribute he had seen and he loved it. Well worth watching on catch up if people want to see it. I won't spoil the end result either.

I haven't seen it yet, but I will bet it sold for less than I have spent on my Cali so far and the body ain't even on yet!

It was beautifully done, surprised it had the original Zed seats, period buckets would have been better.

I just went to their website. They are showing another red F (a 2.8 I think) but that one still has all the standard z3 dash etc.

The one on yesterday's episode (1.9) has a nice classic style dash, door cards etc but, as Paul said, still has original z3 seats.
