Hi it's only making that noise when I gear so may be the carrier ?.. only thing is I don't know what I'm looking at lolI’d check the diff carrier first, then any sign of a cracked spring
Cheers fella have a look nowYou should be able to see it to the upper right side of the exhaust rear box

Had the car on ramps this afternoon and raised diff up with no play at all but by the looks of it the diff looks like it has been replaced at some point due to it being sprayed silver compared to the rest of the underneath?Definitely. If you can raise the rear of the car on some ramps, then place a Jack with a block of wood on it under the Diff. try lifting the Diff. and you will see how worn the bush is.
Tony.
Seconded. Nothing like a saggy bush on a Saturday evening. If the last one was pointed a little more to the left we could see the mounting bush too.

Cheers Tony hoping to get it into the garage as soon as to sort this out but I'll definitely tell them to change diff eye bushI would definitely change the Diff. Eye bush first. It’s shot, and needs changing anyway. Then see how things are. A “Polybush” can be fitted without removing the rear Diff. cover.
