I did mine about six months ago, what I did was remove the side grills and then push the badges out from the inside.
I put pressure on the dowl's that are on the badges because my badges had a lot of double sided weather stripping holding the badge to the grill's.
Once I had made room under the badges I used plastic prying tools and a glue dissolver called "OFF" to help loosen the weather stripping.
Then you mount the new badges and put the assembly back on the car "Voila" !!

I changed all my badges for black and white ones a few months ago. From what I remember I stuck the new ones over the top of the originals. Being a bit sunken it doesn't show. I may of had to chop a couple of lugs of the back of the badge. As the grill's are chrome is was worried about scratching them if I tried to remove the original badges. I think the proper way would be as described above.

Front badge is held on just with the 2 pins go into 2 plastic grommets fitted into bonnet ( which can be replaced, ) you just need to be careful when removing it.
