Back in a 2.8

Well years ago I had a 2.8 but circumstances changed and had to sell up . Anyway a few month ago I bought a 2.0 and I had a few problems with it to say the least.

After a lot of advise from numerous people on here but @mrscalex who took a lot of time to explain what to try I eventually gave up and the 2.0 went back to the seller.

Want to say thanks for everyone’s help on that one

So a 2.8 came up for sale and I thought I will go have a look ...anyway I bought it and so far it’s much better than the 2.0 and I would go as far to say better than my first 2.8

Lovely. The 2.8i six is a truly wonderful engine. We took ours out on Friday for a food shopping trip, but went the ‘long way’ round...

Hand wash

Clay bar
Hand wash
Rinse
Dry
Hand polish
The coat of wax on top

cleaned the engine bay today

Hopefully Tony .. the engine bay has come up great seats have a few marks on them but overall happy with them ... then the channel fell off the passenger window , got it back on lubed everything up and replaced the sliders and it works perfectly now ... tried this gummi phledge on all the rubbers so we will see how that goes... oh and fixed the radio so that now works .... roll on tomorrow

Well after 2 days of cleaning I am now happy
Engine bay cleaned
Interior cleaned
Washed
Claybared
Polished
Waxed
Rear window and exterior lights cleaned with meguiars plastic RX
Came up quite canny
