I have finally refurbished my Garage and I am about to start refurbishment of Zaner my Z3 , I need to keep it mobile or at least pushable , has any one had any experience of something that can go under the back end after i have removed the rear beam so I can push it in and out of the garage ?I am thinking of manufacturing something using a couple of trailer wheels and some angle bar etc ? any thoughts
thanks in advance

Car skates are made to accommodate wheels to be able to move cars around. Could also place blocks on them under the jacking points?

Confirming above as a good idea. I have car skates and used them with or without wheels on the car.

Front of the car would be heavy for pushing and unless a smooth surface to go where you want it will be a real pain plus it’s only the weight of the shell keeping it on the stands and the back will be a lot lighter once all the stuff removed. Is it something that can be done in a couple of days or three? Be willing to give you hand mate as long as you can put me up for an overnight or have a cheap bnb nearby.

Lidl are currently selling some "Dollies" (round or square), I think they're are about £10 each. I would buy a couple of them and jack the car up and sit some axle stands on the dollies. Aldi are selling very similar tools too.

Tony.

As everyone has said.
Two caveats from experience , bolt a bar, screw a plank between the skates, or dollies, makes life much easier if you do have to move it.
Put something rubber between the car and whatever you set it on, helps prevent it moving, or sliding, if you have to move it.
