hi guys bought a cheap b800 scanner tool, just wondering if anybodys use it before.
I want to try and reset my airbag light with it

Yes I have one, its simple to use, you do need the 20 pin to 16 pin OBD2 cable changer to plug it in to the round diagnostic socket in the engine bay. It will not read the Airbag module from a 16pin OBD socket inside the car if you have one fitted. Follow the instructions in the book that came with it and you should be ok with it. If you havn't got the book here is a copy.

I used one to read mine this weekend just gone - found the fault no issue but wouldn't reset the system - presumably as the fault isn't fixed (wiring under driver's seat)

I’m the same as you. Found the fault but can’t switch the light off. I’ll have check the wiring for the seat belt pre-tensioner

My seats are coming out in a few weeks to do the bushes so hopefully making sure they connect up securely will allow the light to be switched off.
