Hi guys I would now like to announce the dates for the 2023 (autumn) Scottish run.
The run will be the usual 2 days
( sat , sun) and will be held on the 16th - 17th September 2023.
Details of where we are going etc will be announced in next month or two still looking at a number of things.
Numbers will be initially limited to 12
So if you have an interest in attending get in touch and I will get you on the list .

UPDATE 30TH JULY 2023.
DAY 1.
So Day 1 .
We will leave the hotel around 9.25 group 1 and 5 to 10 mins later for group 2.
Turning left and joining the A83 we will go around Loch Fyne to Inveraray there we will turn right to follow the A819 to the A85 just outside Dalmally. (Towards the end of the A819 there is some nice views of Loch Awe and Ben Cruachan, also near the junction at the end we pass Kilchurn Castle ).
At the end of the A819 we will turn right onto the A85 which we will follow until it meets the A82 we will turn right onto the A82 and then left ( a few hundred yards down the road) into our first stop at The Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum i have reserved parking area for us all on the Saturday morning we should get there for around 10.30 this will be approximately an hour stop.
Group 1 to leave around 11.30 turning right onto the A82 following the road through Bridge of Orchy and up over Rannoch Moor and through the Glencoe pass ( looking to have some photo ops on this part of the route) then just on the other side of Glencoe village we will get to our lunch stop at The Isle of Glencoe hotel an hour for lunch there as per pm thread.
After lunch around 2pm we will set off back on the A82 into Glencoe village then turning left onto the B863 which will take us around Loch Leven through Kinlochleven and back to the A82 at North Ballachulish then its over the Ballachulish bridge turning off onto the A828 we will follow the A828 along the shoreline of Loch Linnhe to our next stop at Castle Stalker cafe this stop will be around 45 mins max as they shut at 4pm.
From there its back on the A828 over Connel bridge onto the A85 which we will follow through Connel past falls of lora through Taynuilt then following Loch Awe back to the A819 junction at Kilchurn Castle where we will turn right and follow the morning route back down to Inveraray then on A83 back round Loch Fyne to Cairndow and the Hotel.
DAY 2.
On the Sunday Group 1 will depart 9.20 with again group 2 5/10 minutes behind.
Turning right on the A83 we will follow th road past the rest and be thankful to Tarbet where we will join the A82 we will follow th A82 south along Loch Lomond side till we get to the Balloch roundabout where we will turn left onto the A811 we will follow the A811 through Balloch past Drymen till we get to the junction with the A81 therewe turn left to follow the A81 to our first stop at Aberfoyle getting there for around 10.30.
Stop will be around 50 minutes .
Leaving the car park turning then right onto the A821 (dukes pass) following the A821 till it meets the A84 turning right onto the A84 through Callendar until we get to Doune then turning left onto The A820 for 3 miles till it meets the A9
Turning onto the A9 for 5 miles ( average speed camera zone) we will then turn off at the A822 which we will follow until it reaches Crieff and our lunch stop at The Crieff Hydro for 1pm.
Lunch will be the usual hour or so then we will leave following the A85 past Loch Earn and onwards through Crianlarich joining the A82 to our afternoon stop back at The Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum ( they have said they may or may not have reserved parking as Sunday their busiest day so may need to scatter around the available spaces see on the day ) stop will be around 45 minutes.
Leaving there will be the reverse of leg 1 sat morning so turning right onto the A82 then immediately left vack on the continuance of the A85 turning left onto the A819 just past Dalmally following the A819 to Inveraray then left back onto the A83 following round Loch Fyne back to the hotel at Cairndow.
