You can do a triangulation using 3 different postcodes to see the distance in Autotrader. I might have a go now...

I know it's what they do to track lost people with mobile phones. They need data from 3 phone masts to pinpoint a person accurately.

So I just figured it must be possible with postcodes and Google Maps. I've always wanted to try it. I just got lucky finding out how to do it quickly.

Postcodes are exact(ish)

Put three random ones into autotrader and it will do the miles away from

Put those into Google maps

Intersection = location

Bargain just for the hoops and interior as Paul has already said. I think some certain peeps maybe hanging over this one!

Whoever buys it I suspect we will all get an opportunity to own part of it in the future. Sadly too good an opportunity to miss for a breaker.

If it's as good as it looks it would make a lovely car for someone on a limited capital budget though. They could even make around £300 of that back from a simple deal to swap for some slightly lesser seats with cash adjustment. Again, if the seats are as good as they look.

Many sites don't use the whole postcode when calculating distances, just the first three/four characters. Its a much simpler database needed so quicker to access and calculate. That can be quite a large area but 2-3ish miles across maybe giving an error of possibly 6 miles or more. Will still give a good triangulation though assuming the centre of the code area.
Never thought of doing that though - great idea.
