Hi 2.0 auto whats the service spec on changing the gearbox oil ? Mileage based or year based cheers

It says on the sticker on the gear box "Filled for life" . General concensus is that means 100,000 miles. I changed the oil in my 2000 2.0 Z3 at approx. 60,000 miles.

I definitely saw an improvement in the operation of the gearbox. My mate at work had his 740i done and he said the same which prompted me to do it.
