Australian rip-off

I was browsing through the used car sales sites when I can across a car advertised as a ///M. It was advertised by a dealer.

All they did was throw in a S54 into a 2.8TU and a dif gearbox [and absolutely nothing else was changed] and they are selling it for AUD$44,000 claiming it is a unique one and only car.

Needless to say I put in a formal complaint that the ad was misleading and I feel sorry for some bloke out there that might buy it thinking it was a genuine ///M.

Would have thought getting an S54 to run on 2.8 electrics might be a bit tricky. Could well be wrong, though.

This at least has a proper M engine unlike the US ‘M’ version sold by BMW that didn’t even have ITB’s and made a whopping 240bhp from 3.0l.

Naughty to say it’s an M though.
