Had this beauty in for a bumper removal and respray and a full bonnet respray, the owner did the Monte Carlo run and got hammered with stone chips, Metallic white, painted it this morning and kitted up this afternoon, only done 9k miles, If my numbers came up this would be my first purchase, I drool at the sound of it and use any excuse to move it

Modern paint are shocking these days, I have a merc vito that is just over two years old, the stone chips on the front bonnet are horrendous, had it respray and one day later another chip appears , seriously thinking I need to get that invisible film on the front.

TBH, it was an Audi before it was a Lambetta. No, that wasn't a spell check error either. Boy they do sound awesome though.

Nissan GT-R 35 for me future son in law has got one 720bhp have had a go in both the GT-R will play with the r8 and a lot cheaper and the sound unbelievable.

unfortunately if you can afford cars like this you wont appreciate it for what it is. (if you can afford it you can just go and buy another so how could you possible appreciate it). so next time you feel envious of something like this, just think of this statement and your feel much better. its more likely you love your zed more than he loves his R8

oh yeh, my old boss had one of these, he must weigh about 27 stone, it was hilarious watching him get in and out.

Just to throw a spanner in the works I enquired today about when the TTRS comes out and prices/tech spec etc.

The TTRS coupe will do 0-60 in 3.7 secs and will cost around 50k. That's less than half the cost of a new R8 and not that far behind on usable performance.
