Found the Z3 Ive been looking for. A beautiful 2.2 2001 silver with black leather and only 22k on the clock from new. Ive added some great 17" alloys and the car looks stunning and drives like a new car. paid quite a bit more than my budget but hey its an investment huh? :)

Well done Martin you'll love it - It's worth paying a little over the odds if it's what you want - I'm new to the Z3 as well and I love it - you must post a couple of pictures up

Welcome and glad you found YOUR car! Sounds a beauty. Just a word of caution, with so few miles check every hose on the engine as they deteriorate from sitting. Look for minute cracks and small leaks! Enjoy your toy!! JIM

Thanks for the advice Jim.
Yes have given the hoses a good look over and they seem to be OK. plus have given it a good 500mile run since Ive had it and no probs and no water loss

Don't be shocked if you do start getting a few though it's very common for the air hoses to crack once you start driving the vehicle more due to determination and vibration. And they'll usually split underneath where the cracks are hidden and it will throw your A/F ratios off! Hopefully you won't have that problem but just be aware if your idle goes wonky one day! JIM
