Are All Headlights The Same on Z3's?

Yes and No.
All Detango lights are the same for 1999 onwards which had plastic lenses. Absolutely fine and far more available than the early era lights with Glass lenses. The way to visibly tell is the lights will have chrome trim surrounding the bulb lenses and the pre 99 detango lights have no chrome trim.
@spurs fan in a coupe - Andy is a well known z3 breaker on the site and will likely have a set of these available for you.

Thanks for the replies, so yes my recently purchased Z has the orange indicators...would the ones with clear and chrome around the bulbs fit?

Yes, some early prefacelift 4 cylinder have the side lights in the headlights too, but on your facelift they are in the bumper. So will be plug and play

Also if anyone wants to share a photo of how they look because I've seen most people go for full new aftermarket headlights w/ angel eyes fitted
