It started with the overflow outside with a small stream of water .....ah Ballcock I thought !!
So turned off mains feed and took off valve. Luckily had all the bits in my plumbing stuff so quick clean and went back in the loft to reinstall it ..... only to find the tank was full and water again going down the overflow

So turned off water to kitchen mixer tap ...... still water coming out....... then turned off feed to bathroom .......and after a bit it stopped.
So turned the kitchen back on and still ok
So deduced had to be the mixer tap in the bathroom. ( I did turn it back on and it did over flow so confirmed it )
Worked out how to get the handle , spacer and nut off..... but after about an hour cannot get the cartridge bit out, which is probably the part that needs to be replaced.
Anyone know how they are meant to come out ???
