Here's why @Bozzy and I got so muddy on our run out on Sunday:whistle:. We were leaving Longnor on a good B road we came across this :


So today was the day to clean her up :

Although today it was jet wash, snow foam, rinse and dry as rain stopped play:(

Dave, cracking effort at sweeping the road.. Now if it had been @Lee or @Rally they would have made sure enough of the crud flew up behind ... aka Cotswold run..

She’s looking mighty fine as usual.
Been looking at solving the same problem on the Coupe Dave, even on semi clean roads the crap gets all over the sides. Need to see if mud flaps or wing extensions will help. I know everyone thinks that mud flaps or extensions spoil the overall look on some cars but in the old days most cars came with mud flaps fitted and HGVs have to have them. Would help with convoy stone chips. If the flaps are shaped I reackon they could enhance the overall look. Will get onto this in the new year, wouldn’t take much of a flap to stop a most stones and crap being thrown down the sides and out the back of our lovely cars as most of us run oversized wheels and tyres. Just an ongoing thought.
