Anyone done this route - Oopnurthring – Peak District

Just wondering if anyone has done the route or part of it - looking to do it on Friday so wondering where the nice rest stops are?

It looks nice on the map... the weather forecast looks good and I feel the need to drop the hood and go for a spin... I'll be sure to wave at any passing planes :-h

Did a trip to include the Bluejohn Mine, Speedwell Cavern and Peak Cavern

There are some great roads around here its my back garden!
Might be able to get out in the afternoon but not 100% yet. Mozza keep your mobile phone (that thing you don't know how to work) on I will bell you if I can get out.

Finally caught up with Snoops at Ladybower today,managed a few miles together,and of course we had a coffee and cake stop. sorry you mised it Seasurfer,the cakes are on me next time.

Wow,me and Sara went for a nosy on this route today (oopenearthring) and i'v got to say its a fantastic drive with excellent roads,great scenery,it was like driving abroad on a mountain pass.Stunning i just wish i knew of these roads years ago. Well worth a look if you'r in that area

Isn't it great getting onto new roads and finding new grounds to explore. Exactly why when we travel anywhere we try to find new places to see. Glad you and Sara had such a great ride out!! JIM
