Any Members in Daventry??

Seen a 2.8 but its approx 3 hr train journey once I get over to England from NI.

If there's any members in that area could have a look at her and let me know if it's worth making the journey that would be great, but wouldn't want or expect anyone to go out their way...only if it's really local.

Described as needing some cosmetic TLC, but this can mean a lot of different things to different people. It's a long way for me to go for a lemon so if someone is a stone throw any who could cast a beady eye that would be great.

Just like to say a big thank you to @Redline for viewing a car for me today.

Gave it the once over and by the looks of things it's not for me.

Redline's help has saved me a long 2 way disappointing journey and a few quid.
A pint or two is most definitely owed

It needed a lot of work (and money) to bring it up to a reasonable level. Engine sounded sweet, but paintwork not brilliant but I suspect could be improved with lots of attention. In some places well scratched and tatty plus a dent in the bonnet. Would want at least another £1k spending on it without looking under the skirts. Still - it got me out for an hour

It was only three miles from the office. The guy I went see used to come and clean the vehicles for the field engineers where I work now. He knows where I work
