Anti-trap driver window malfunction

Good morning! I wonder if anyone has experienced the same - the driver window on my 2007 Z4 goes up and down like a dream apart from one thing, the one touch auto roll-up is not working so I have to hold the switch all the time till the window winds up. I only bought the Z recently, a couple of days into the driving the engine light went off so I hooked it up to diagnostics to see what’s triggered it and the code that popped up was Anti-trap Protection for Power Window Unit, Front, Driver’s Side.

I guess given the switch is not working correctly maybe that’s where the issue is? Or the switch is not letting the window go up automatically because the anti trap protection is down? I can’t find any info anywhere on what the anti trap function is built into.. any suggestions much appreciated.

Worth going through the procedure to reset the window end stops. That normally solves issues with the auto window function not working.
Worst case would be a frayed cable in the window regulator. That would require a rebuild kit and taking the door apart.
