Another 'Hello from Yorkshire'

Hi all. I'm Mike from Wakefield. I have just bought my first Z3, and I'm picking it up on Saturday.

It's a Palmetto Green 2.8. It's a marmite colour, and when I originally saw the ad for the car, I didn't look at it closely. When I eventually looked at the pictures and looked into the colour, and how rare it was, I fell in love with it.

I saw on the other Yorkshire thread about the Motorist Hub BMW Meet. I've been to the last two in my wifes Boston Green E36 Convertible (yes we like green cars). I'm also restoring a Lapisblau E21 316. I'll be taking the Z to the next one.

Here's a picture of it from an ad from a couple of years ago. Its staggered wheels are now black. I may swap them back to silver. I'll post more pictures at the weekend when I've collected it.

Hi and welcome from me near Lincoln. I'm a fan of silver (bright) wheels, I don't like Black/dark grey ones. It is a rare colour but also a nice one.

Thank you. Thats a nice colour too.

He had all sorts of messers when selling, which seems to be the norm now. I was the only serious buyer, and only person who looked at it. I'm certainly glad I did.

Hi! I was in Mansfield last weekend, to look at a facelift three litre. The oxford green one that's on ebay/autotrader. Unfortunately, it wasn't at the garage when I went, so I looked at the E36 M3 that was in there instead.
