Another Dutch Zed: from lurker to contributor

Hi Guys,

Blimey, turns out I registered a fair while ago, but never got around to writing an introduction (or any post whatsoever, for that matter). Oops, my bad!

My name is Maurits, I am from the Netherlands and I own a February 2003 3.0i Titan Silber Z4. I have owned this fine specimen since December 2011.

Prior to that I owned a Monaco blue 2007 2.5si, which - despite loads of TLC - uhhhm, to put it mildly was not completely trouble free (mostly typical N52 issues). Prior to that owned two Mazda Miata’s / Mx5 in a row. (Converted to the roadster tribe in 2005.)

Also, one of the administrators from www.z3forum.nl / www.z4forum.nl.

Meanwhile I have tweaked my Silver Arrow in quite a few minor aspects (and removed quite a few of the alterations made by the previous owner). I will start a progress thread for that when at home again (currently on holidays).

@mwpe : Last Limborit for me was three years ago.

This year I deemed it necessary to throw a party for my 40th birthday the night before the start of the Limborit, so not committing to drive the Z early morning after turned out to be quite sensible actually

@hard top : all right! Been to Beverwijk quite a few times when still living in Amsterdam. Then you should defo consider to take part in next year’s Oranjetour: a charity ride in Katwijk for disabled children. We have a fair forum representation there each year, but could do with some new talent. I know it is not next door, but you are already in the coastal region anyway ...
