Nice one on the pass mate, happy days  The Cossie, great car. Originally was supposed to have 290 BHP but the men in grey suits went into a flat spin about that sort of power in a family saloon, common place now. :coolsteer)

Well you had better luck than me, presented the car to my usual MOT Garage handed in the key and then had a phone call as me and the wife were just driving out of their front gates from the Receptionist. She had just been told the brake test rollers were faulty and in need of repair so MOT couldn't go ahead. Retrieved the car and now awaiting them to call me when they have their rollers repaired.

Hopefully won't take too long to repair then you'll have 12 months of smiles too;)

They should not have done that Col, they should have tested the car using the Decelerometer which every testing station has to have to cover these instances. That was very naughty of them.:(

I was thinking that Tony maybe that was bust as well, they are usually very good always take the Z3 to them, this one today was the Z4 and its the first MOT in my ownership so was looking forward to seeing what the result was going to be.

If you know them than it's what it is mate, but, if the "Tapley" meter is out of action they better hope no one reports them to VOSA. Big trouble if it is not usable. The DVSA really frown on not being able to test vehicles.
What should happen is they SHOULD report to DVSA that they cannot carry out roller testing and they should use the Deceleromter for tests previously booked for 3 days Maximum.

The Z4 passed today, one advisory for brake pipe rear nearside getting crusty, will be delving into that as soon as I clear the garage out of all the old carpet waiting for my Tip appointment next week so I can access my lift.
