Whats in there that could rattle, alternatively what could rattle and sound like its coming from there. Big ask I know, but you never know if someone has suffered the same...:)

yes I have something similar that rattles a bit, but when i use my hand to put some pressure on the underside of the dash, the rattle stops. I think it must be a panel or screw in there somewhere...

If its the A pillar, is your movement sensor in place? If not, might be behind causing a rattle?

Ah Ok, thanks guys, Ill investigate, it's driving me nuts...

Definitely from the pillar? I noticed a rattle in mine but wasn't exactly sure where it was coming from. Turned out there's a spring on each side of the top that are connected with some sort of cable or something. On mine it's broken so the spring hangs down and rattles. I have no idea how long it's been that way since this was only the second time in 6 years that I drove it with the top up.

That spring and wire are for the soft top, the is one on each side just above your head inside the edges of the top material.

Definitely pillar I never put my top up here in Australia, there is no need... I,m yet to investigate...

Not concerned about the drop bears, then? Brave man.

Way ahead of them, I wear a helmet.... :). Although the seasoned outdoors-man just put their hats on backwards, this confuses the bear into dropping too late..Driving everywhere in reverse should therefor be effective....
