Along with new brake pipes and clutch pipe http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z3-E3...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d0ea3d962
Then get the brake calipers refurbished and new disks http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bmw-Z3-2-...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d049e32b3
Already got some redstuff front pads from Brian and will get similar for the rears.
Any feed back would be much appreciated along with any rough guesses on labour charges. Thanks in advance Bruce

Check out Eurocarparts as they are distributors for Powerflex and last time a friend bought some he saved nearly 20% on RRP

Believe me a Z looks a piece of cake compared to a MKI MX5 which has approx. 28 bushes when you do a full refresh and took me a full day in the workshop.

I have seen many mixed views with powerflex bushes, some love them some hate them, I did the whole set on my 1.9 and it certaily tightened everything up but I guess so would new OEM ones. The front bushes are quite easy to do the rear is a little more involved as it requires the trailing arms and the rear beam to be removed.

I had my brake calipers refurbished my BiggRed, great service although a little pricey, new replacement calipers can almost be bought for the same price.

keep in mind if you do do the work to the rear of the car then it is a great time to replace your handbake cables and shoes.

Eurocarparts have an ON-LINE stock sale - 50% off until tomorrow - may be worth a look.
