Gone, my last ever visit. I'll give it a nod riding down the Distington bypass every morning on the way to work. 13 years and 9 months in house number 30, we'll miss the idyllic setting for sure ....... and the barn for my garage but we won't miss the 🐄 💩 one iota or the Paris/Dakar track 🤣 Formal march-out at 09:30hrs by the C-in-C tomorrow (handover of keys to those not of a military persuasion) then it's consigned to history. Hello suburbia with flat roads 🤣

Oh, Jenga guru having got all my kit in the garage whilst Bella is in storage for a month less @Stevo7682 Scotland Tour. A bit of fettling and done. Child number 2 (Holly) has a secure metal small garage inbound.

When one door closes another opens Andy although reckon suburbia will take a time period to adjust to though but your new place looks nice and Bella will thank you from not being tortured between your house and the road.

My run will be gentle on Bella as well hotel only hour and half or so from you so easy run up leisurely Saturday as cant really extend the route without adding miles and miles onto it Sunday will be bit longer.

Is the garage for car storage?
Stephen.

The garage for Bella is 17ft long and 9ft 11 wide with a small 4ft x 9ft 11 workshop at the end, the new garage/shed is for my bike.

Always liked the look of the old gaff, Andy - along with the views. The driveway left little to be desired tho

Enjoy the new place, as you've grabbed a bargain there

Brilliant views from where you were, but you have the memories to take with you. Bella will thank you for keeping her out of the 🐄 💩. You can always come round the Peaks with me for that.....if you'd like=)).

Enjoy suburbia and especially the smooth(ish) roads.

My last house was "in the middle of nowhere", which I built. I have now lived in the centre of a town for 5 years.
I REALLY don't like suburbia. Apparently (according to the wife) it is convenient for the shops. In 2025 everything you want can be delivered next day!

I will take middle of nowhere any day!

Not sure you'd take this one mate with the track, cows and sheep.
