These can be strange things (reminds me of joining one of those dating sites for us sad old single has-beens) I used to have bikes a 1982 Honda 750 KZ which I bought new in 1982 and sold last year and a XV1100 which I also sold last year, It was a custom job with a trick paint job and custom Green Leather button back seat with Sissy bar. at one time I also had a Toyota Celica Supra which I absolutely adored but that went about 7 years ago. Anyway I managed to get a little money together and thought what toy I should award myself and truthfully I decided on the Z3 it has such graceful lines. in a way it reminds me of the AC Cobra with the flares over the arches. so in July/August I bought my Toy: A Montreal Blue 2.8 which was about the 5 or 6th I took out I tried the smaller engine and it did not quite gel for me I then tried a 2.2 and it seemed slow to respond and someone had put a non standard air filter on it (he was apparently in the RAF as an officer) anyway when I took My Blue Toy out I just loved the sound and the pull and, and, and. what I have since found out is that it has a stainless steel exhaust and that makes the note deeper apparently.

I started to have a little fun and found that I wanted to understand more how the car handles so decided that I would like to take it to the track for a track day (I am now signed up for two with the BMWCC) anyway a friend of mine said I was mad as it would be uninsured and if I wrote of my toy how would I feel......Cutting a long story short I saw his point so I fixed the problem I found another Black one which is also a 2.8 (doesn't sound as good though, not got the stainless exhaust) anyway now I have two Z3's aged within six months of each other and both peaches to drive.

I suppose I should say I am a single fella (unfortunately! any takers considered "if they look my type" :ympray: ) in my later working years but do not act it. I was a project manager for a number of years before it all got rather tick box and boring. Now trying to find a new career, in property all at the wrong time of course.

I enjoy a good time and great company and that is why when I was watching the Horwood house Zfest posts I put myself forward to try and help make it something special. You get out of life in proportion to the efforts you are prepared to put in.

I would especially like to thank Ragtop for the introduction to the site ^:)^ and also to Gzhyde for giving a newbie the chance to help out! (*)

PS I need some names for the toys so suggestions please? /:)

Oh Sugar!! X(

I once was a pretty hot Project Manager and focused on nothing else (top money back in 1996 was £28K per month) $-) and one day a ex-friend of mine said you need to "get a life" when I looked at how I was living I decided he was right so I took up diving (scuba). As part of taking up diving I bought a 5.7M RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) for a crowd of us to go diving on Ludy and other places That boat needed a name so I came up with La Vida which is either Portuguese or Spanish for "A Life" and my email address at the time for the diving was la_vida_diver and it has stuck ever since. Even when I bought a 34ft Bavaria yacht she was christened Mi-Vida meaning My Life but I am not yet sure when I shall use the other one which I can't remember (but have written down and stored away) but means "The Life". The rib got stolen, trailer and all, in 2005 and the Yacht had to go in order to stay afloat like the bikes and cars. I never regret though changing my life even though I ended up divorced, single and looking for a new career, a new lady in my life and a new hobby! L-)

It occurs that Maybe I should just drop the Diver bit now I still dive but not UK very much much prefer warmer climates! :-?
