Hubby took some students on a paddle boarding trip last week up to Coniston Water. At the bottom of the lake it runs in to the River Crake. He always takes his waterproof camera for students shots for the website and if they want any pics of their trip, but, 100 mtrs down the river, he lost the camera off the carribinah. Th say he was gutted about it was an under statement. Any how, they all looked for it for about an hour to no avail, and came rather dispondent.
He found he had a few unexpected hours off yesterday, so he and a mate went back to the river with snorkels, and in 20 mins found it. Switched it on and took photos. Bone dry inside, card bone dry, and thats 6 days in a river. Amazing!
