Poor you @GailI drove to work in mine like I do every day......roof closed......not because of the temperature but because it was pitch dark all the way!!
During the winter months I drive the 25 miles to work and back again in the dark every day.....I only see my house in daylight at the weekendsPoor you @Gail
Sometimes I go to work in the dark but not often
I've got a holiday day to day
So I've made a appointment for the dreaded dentist![]()
That's a long way to go GailDuring the winter months I drive the 25 miles to work and back again in the dark every day.....I only see my house in daylight at the weekends![]()
The route I drive I have to keep my eyes on the road, not the stars. If I'm not being blinded by the lights of the oncoming traffic I'm avoiding the lorries and tractors taking up more than their fair share of the road.

It isn't but the only alternatives to get me to work involve sitting in huge queues of traffic which certainly isn't exhilarating. The country roads are fine in the daylight, just not at this time of year. That does not sound like a fun road even during the dayPick a better one and try it its quite exhilarating.
AAHHH........ The dreaded dentist......... Many years ago, I was having a root canal done. The dentist had drilled down into the root of the tooth and had measured the piece of material that was to fill the canal of the root. He had miscalculated measuring the piece and it was a tad long. When he placed it into the hole in the root and pushed it down, it contacted the nerve at the bottom of the root. The instant pain was unbearable and I let out a terrific scream as it seemed like my head had exploded. The receptionist walked from the front desk down the hallway to the room we were in and said: "You just cleared out the waiting room". FrankiePoor you @Gail

Me to Gail. Hate it, leave around 3.30am and get in around 5pm. Dark both sides. I've usually done 4 hours at work before I see any light. Still at it now queuing for the truck wash.During the winter months I drive the 25 miles to work and back again in the dark every day.....I only see my house in daylight at the weekends![]()
