Wish we were:( never mind will go again soon, Glad you agree with me Alps are spectacular (for the first hour or two but then look all the same and a bit boring IMO) but the views are constantly changing in the Pyrenees.

Some serious flying wild life in the Pyrenees to add to the viewing spectacular also......

1. I believe that any mountain with a good asphalt is great in a Zed!:playful:
2. If you are surrounded by bikers, you're on the good mountain!:)

Got to be the Alps as they are so dramatic and change with every turn. Have done both twice now and the Alps have a lot more to offer for the Driver in both scenery and driving roads

Weston Hills has all it's twist and turns! Flat as a pancake, whoever named it was a "Geezer"!

I've only ever done the Alps, but I'm open to suggestions about the Pyrenees.

I'd love a good route with nice hotels. I'm in France in September again. Open to suggestions.

:)

North Norfolk is sooo good, but I could write book on it. Know it like the back of my hand. Every little nock and cranny, but every now and then I spread my wings and let the Zed have it's day!

I'm on the Canal du Midi in September and would like a little info on the Pyrenees. Never really been. I've traveled to Spain along the coast several times and thats lovely. But a spectacular route winding it's way would be appreciated/

Right place, right time, right product!

It's gorgeous in North Norfolk.

Gods own County!

Worth the trip down.

In the summer theres no where else to be. Stunning!

Have to agree Rev, had some nice stays at Hopton Holiday Village. Our old next door neighbour Ron Goodsir originated from that neck of the woods. Also stayed at Snettisham too years ago. The worst part is the getting there as the roads in our counties leave much to be desired.

Sometimes bad roads lead to nice places. The masses know it's a pain and so it's quieter than other spots. Worth the trip, just chose your time.

I don't know Hopton Holiday Village, sorry.

The places I go are along the coast and the views are fab. I can take you to beaches that on a Bank Holiday are deserted. Miles of open sand. Thats the joy of it really. Peace!!!

Getting busier all the time though. Not for the better.

A glorious place. 1950's seaside in 2014. Something that doesn't happen except in Northumbria and Norfolk. Maybe Wales as well.

Special spots and to be cherished whilst they last, but it's changing.

So to the Pyrenees we must go and enjoy ourselves in another of Gods chosen spots!!!!!!!!

Played at Gorleston Golf Club a few times.

My old mate lives there (and in the club house)
Golf club is OK, but the rest.......what a dump.

From there you should have headed to Southwold. Thats lovely, but the area you were in isn't the best.

The area I know well is Hunstanton through to Wells next Sea. Tis Lovely!
