Evening all,
My car is fitted with style 55 16" wheels which are nice enough but I would like something different. As I use the car in all weathers, I've decided that some style 18s would be nice as they will be easy to keep clean. I see them listed described as staggered, either IS or ET. Can anyone tell me what the standard arrangement is please? Thanks.

The standard fitments for style 18 are, 15x7J ET47, 16x7J ET46 all around according to bmw TIS.
For staggered sets this would be 17x7.5J ET41 and 17x8.5J ET41

all sizes and combinations can be found here.

Thanks Zephyr, so a staggered set would widen the rear by 2" yes? If I didn't want that then I need a set of 4 @ 7.5 x 17 ET41 all round yes?

Yep. You should see numbers in the front: (these are mine, not the style you are after, but should be something like this)

and for some cases you may find them in the back.
