We just wanted a short run out this afto, so we did the Belvoir castle route and this is where we usually stop for a cuppa.
The cafe hasn't opened at all this year, so we were pleasantly surprised to see this cute old French snack wagon there.
We were doing a bit of a recce for a possible future group cruise, thinking of starting from Donington park so we called there first

Since we last visited the cafe has closed but the museum is still open, which means the w.c facilities are open.
B.S.B is held there this week, heard the bikes howling round the track, you can see some of the fancy support trucks in the background.

The weather was superb again today, perfect for roof down driving .

More than likely mate, I got talking with the couple that own it, who are local and they said they do a few different events. The van is called Henri, the chap is also petrol head, we got talking about the one that Ed China did on W.D.
Oh yes the museum .

Possibly the same one Tony, but wasnt it Red last time we were there ? Of course it could have been repainted and possibly sold, as he had it for sale when we were there.

Anyways looks a cracking day out Steve - good to take advantage of the weather.

Great day for a drive out. I recognise the location with the Citroen tea van;). I spent most of the day painting a shed and a couple of benches:(, then washed the Zed ready for tomorrow. See ya in the morning:thumbsup:

Aye the lesser spotted Orange Lotus

Great weather for it really, and there are a few around those parts - that tend to head out that way at least, as the roads are pretty good.
