aircon dryer

evening people as anyone replaced there aircon dryer ?
are they the same as on the Z3 or as usual are the Ms specific to them.
iv asked around at GSF and BMS but there all out of stock.
iv found these online and it comes up with this.

its says its the same as the M3 so im kinda assuming that is right...but after the palaver of the aircon rad im wondering if anyone had changed theirs?
looking at realOEM it looks like there all the same

I would say if the part number matches across the models it will be the same, so if you've checked realoem you should be good.

I had mine done recently by a mobile aircon guy. Price seems about right and if realoem says they're the same as m3 then you're good. What was the problem with the aircon rad? I changed mine and although it was a bit tight didn't have any issues. Turns out that the rad's an m3 item with the mounting tabs cut off - the leaky one I removed was the same.

Ian we struggled to find a leak in the system but when we has a sniff test it seemed to locate above the rad so iv sourced a custom built one.
the dryer is a service part anyway so i might as well change it while doing the rad.

We have a bottle of inert gas (pub gas) to pressurise the system at work to find leaks in conjunction with a soapy water spray.

My mate had 12 of those in the back of is van and they all fell over and one of them went off, he pulled over on the hard shoulder and sent me to sort it out, when I opened the side door, people must have thought the van was on fire, talk about looking for a needle in a haystack in thick mist......!
