Hi. I was interested in installing mfsw buttons in my 2000 z3 so I bought an e39 steering wheel. Problem is it’s a single stage steering wheel so I can’t just straight up connect the slip ring. Is there a way to wire a single stage wheel to a dual stage car?

Airbags are a critical safety system. Don't butcher the wiring and take on a large liability risk. Do plug and play changes only. Also check out what you are allowed to do in your country. In some places, you have to have such changes inspected/certified to make sure they are safe.
