Air con fan extremely noisy

Hi,
The air con fan in the engine bay( in front of the rad) sounds like a bag of spanner’s when the ac is on. The ac works perfectly and the air is ice cold, but the fan sounds awful. When I stop the engine, the fan spins down and it sounds dreadful!
I suspect the bearing has gone in the fan.
Is it possible to replace the bearing, or is it a sealed unit.
Also, how does the fan come out? Is it a front bumper off job, or is there another way?

Bumper off will help - it’s actually very easy to get the bumper off - remove under trays (8mm boots) and then just two T50 bolts hold the bumper on.
